Results from the Survey of Adult Skills 2023 indicate that there is a clear age gradient in proficiency in several key information-processing skills, including literacy, numeracy and adaptive problem-solving. While such disparities exist across the OECD, they are especially pronounced in Austria, where a large gap in skills proficiency across age groups can be observed.“
